Social media is in, and television is on its way out, at least that is the way I see it. I would much rather see a seven second video, than watching prime time television. I would find it more peculiar that a fifteen year old does not know about Vine or Snapchat than not knowing what time the news airs as these forms of social media are more attractive to teenagers than television. With that said, there is no need to stress the influential aspect of these forms of social media. I could gain fame in seven seconds, or from a picture on Instagram, however, as with any aspect of our world today we must learn to use it in a positive manner and never the other way around.
ReplyDeleteTime waits for no one, as the days pass and modern technology continues to evolve, the youths are simply adjusting to the new trends and era's coming along. They find themselves constantly glued to their electronics logged into some online website trying to keep up with the times. This makes me realize that the good old days of Tom and Jerry, Ed Edd and Eddie, Courage the cowardly dog, Scooby doo and all thoes TV shows that made traditional TV what it was for me, is beginning to come to an end. Time waits for no one.
ReplyDeleteSocial Media is on point with its way in, and television is on its way out. Teenagers are mostly viewing their elcetronic devices rather than the television. Teenagers find the social media more attrative than the television. I for one could get famous with a seven second video by doing something fun or by doing something stupid. Social media is used to gain information better than the television because most of the time teenagers would just want to view the information on the media rather than television. Like I said social media is on its way in, and television is on its way out.
ReplyDeleteTelevision is on it's edge of being in existence. In the present generation it is most likely know that young people refuse to watch modern television but in exchange they rather be on Facebook, Skype, or as state in the article Vine, a more interesting way of having entertainment. As a result of "Vine", it touches the top. I could just imagine myself uploading a ten or less seconds video, and from that it brings a great amount of fame and respect. Never the less, social media is now known to be "The People's Choice", which will gradually merge into something greater than expect and benefit the society.
ReplyDeleteThe social media app Vine has shown how effective and useful it can be to people. Through its time limit it have pushed people to become more creative when portraying there video of some sort. Now many scouts and investors are looking for new talent and they use this site to do so which is proven through the success of others. This gives many young teenagers like me an opportunity to become someone great since young people adapt to the social media very easily. It also provides a form of entertainment for certain individual which keeps them occupy and ease their stress simply because it may be funny or interesting to the viewers. So media apps like Vine can be very useful and have a positive influence in someone’s life base on how it is used.
